Can you spoof traffic?

No. Spoofing is an illegal activity. RedWolf Security does not spoof other peoples IP address space. RedWolf can use the TOR (the onion router) network for certain layer-7 tests which can almost double the number of IP addresses attacking. RedWolf finds that using 200 to 1000 servers is a good number, especially if TOR (the ‘Onion Router’ — an anonymizing proxy network) is used as well to add extra IP addresses for a test. RedWolf can allocate over 10,000 servers if required but the costs can outweigh the benefits. What matters more in DDoS is not the # of IP attackers but rather the type of attack vector and the kind of resource exhaustion is being attempted.
