We are a hybrid team, with in office 3 days a week and work from home available 2 days a week. We stay connected through our weekly connection points and use our project management software (Jira). We get into the office throughout the week because we find that sometimes it stimulates some great problem solving and group cohesion.  Always available to each other, we work together through issues as they arise ensuring that the end result is a clear, well-informed recommendation/presentation of data for our clients. We love to follow a good procedure structure and tick all the boxes along the way in a project. We try to avoid ‘MacGyvering’ solutions and work towards structural and procedural progress to help the whole team and our clients find success.  We don’t just work for our clients, we are invested in their needs and results.

We’re looking for a Product Solutions Advocate with an entrepreneurial spirit and an interest in taking the baton in their expertise and running with it. This role is the link between client, internal/Partner sales and delivery teams. This expert will wow prospects, customers and partners with reusable use cases, presentations and demonstrations. Our mission is to help customers achieve their goals by getting the most from our products and solutions.

This role will partner closely with sales, marketing and our technical experts to develop and enhance solution prototypes. This customer experience focused role requires a marriage of technical understanding, excitement and the ability to communicate across a variety of mediums to varied audiences.

Here are the things that you’ll own day to day:

Product Innovation (25%):

  • Develop a deep knowledge of the RedWolf platform to remove technical barriers for our customers/partners and help them navigate a variety of capabilities available to them.
  • Remain current on new developments/technological capabilities and industry knowledge
  • Partner with our product and engineering teams to identify and diagnose software issues to fix and improve the product experience for our customers
  • Serve as a role model and trusted advisor on the team showcasing ownership of even the most complex and sensitive issues

Product and Client Experience Advocate (50%):

  • Communicate thoughtful, empathetic, and complete resolutions tailored to each customer, enabling them to improve their defense posture
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within RedWolf to more deeply engage customers and Partners with our platform, and improve the overall Customer Experience
  • Develop standard and custom solutions for Customers and Channel Partners
  • Develop and and provide training for platform users
  • Communicate with customers and channel partners to ensure we understand the business use cases and that they understand the platform capabilities
  • Conduct Post-delivery follow-up
  • Develop and maintain customer/partner relationships

Pre-Sales and Outreach (25%)

  • Show composure, resilience, and flexibility in RedWolf’s fast-paced ever changing environment, and also as an internal advocate for evolving Customer and Partner needs.
  • Develop and deliver workshop content
  • Assist Sales teams with client discovery and product demonstrations
  • Design and support the implementation of lab/demo environments for internal and channel partner use
  • Present at industry summits, conferences and events that require a natural speaker that can command attention and present security and network subjects with confidence
  • Support sales team with technical queries

  • You like to share knowledge and are comfortable making presentations and running workshops.
  • You love to solve problems that seem impossible to solve and well before they cause issues.
  • Love to know and learn new things. You aren’t afraid of new terminology/technology or the unknown.
  • You like to be on the cusp of new things in your industry.
  • You have an interest in sales and a knack for talking to people.
  • You look for growth and don’t shy away from opportunities.
  • Has experience in (or a desire to learn) people management.
  • Values Communication and Client Experience as pillars of a healthy work exchange.
  • Enjoys working independently and is motivated by impacting results.
  • Is conscientious and thorough, calm in stressful situations and functions well in a transparent, collaborative working style.

Tech we work with that is helpful for you to know:

  • Cloud Computing (e.g. Azure, AWS) and services they offer
  • Understanding of general enterprise networking technologies like firewalls, routers, load balancers, web servers and API’s
  • General network understanding (packets, bandwidth, protocols like TCP, UDP, ICMP, DNS)
  • Familiarity with the various Vendors and Technologies utilized by enterprises in their Cyber Security Defense systems

Our Hiring Process:

  • Step 1: A video/phone call with our HR Resource. In this call, we will cover the basics of the role and our company, and discuss a high level overview of your past experiences, goals, and interest in this role.
  • Step 2: A quiz activity, completed in Typeform. It’s designed to be fun and takes well under an hour to complete.
  • Step 3: A call with management team members, your potential managers, to dive deeper into your experiences, goals, and style, and review the quiz activity results.
  • Step 4: References + Offer.

The Downside; We know as a company there are things we are still working on perfecting and we like to be transparent about the challenges ahead. Here are some of the areas we are working on:

Creating Structures that Work – We’re a small organization, so we feel procedure is helpful to create and follow as we grow and expand services. Often we technology folks like to find new and unique ways to move things ahead. We don’t cut corners though. That means sometimes you may not have the flexibility to freeflow problem solve.

Managing Client Relationships – Our clients are important to us. This role is integral to those relationships so there needs to be an enjoyment of client interaction and the understanding that includes when they are happy but also when they are not.

Team Growth – As the business grows, so will the team! And as important as it is to find clients that compliment our values, it is just as important to find teammates that do as well.  This also means that in some instances, the onboarding and training of these new members will be a collaborative effort.
